Hi, I'm Peter Kerr
Sissonne was founded in 2024 by Sally Jones and Sarah Palmer with a clear vision: to redefine outdoor living with high-quality furniture that withstands Australia's unique conditions. I was one of their first and most loyal customers, drawn to their commitment to craftsmanship and timeless design.
My own passion for premium furniture began long before Sissonne. As an award-winning Interior Designer (PLK DESIGN), my work with houses and yachts has always been rooted in a love for exceptional, enduring design. It was this passion, nurtured since importing my first custom pieces for a home in the Mornington Peninsula in 2011, that led me to be entrusted with the Sissonne legacy.
Today, I am dedicated to continuing this journey. Splitting my time between Melbourne, the Gold Coast, and Airlie Beach, I have a deep, personal understanding of Australia's diverse climates. I am committed to producing Sissonne Outdoor products that not only meet these demands but are a true reflection of enduring quality and beautiful design.

Hi, I'm Erica Rae
For years, my world revolved around the water as the COO of Horizon Yachts Australia. Spending my days designing stock and custom yachts for clients meant I was constantly immersed in an environment where durability isn't just a nice to have it’s everything.
Coming from the marine industry, I know firsthand what it takes for materials to survive the harsh Australian heat, salt, and sun. But alongside the practical side of things, I have always had a massive love for design. To me, the best outdoor furniture is the perfect marriage of both: it needs to look absolutely stunning, but it also has to be tough enough to actually live in.
That shared obsession with detail and quality is actually how I met Peter Kerr. I was project managing the build of his yacht, and what started as a working relationship quickly turned into a great friendship. We just clicked over our mutual appreciation for all things design.
When Peter bought Sissonne in 2025, jumping on board was a no-brainer for me. It was the perfect opportunity to bring my background in resilient, marine grade durability into the commercial furniture space. Most importantly, it gives me the chance to do what I truly love: creating beautiful outdoor furniture that people genuinely love to use, and that will actually go the distance.
Our Philosophy
To bring this vision to life, we passionately curate a collection of European-designed, artisan-crafted pieces. We use only the highest-grade materials, including sustainable premium-grade teak, all-weather fabrics, marine-grade rope, and quick-dry foam. Our pieces are more than just furniture; they are investments in quality and style. The result is a collection of elegant, durable, and luxurious outdoor furniture that transforms any space with the same meticulous attention to detail as the finest indoor settings.
